High pressure situated over southern Europe will bring dry and mild weather to much of Spain on Thursday and Friday.
A cold front will bring showers to part of northwestern Spain, including Galicia, from Thursday night into Friday. The rain is expected to taper off later in the day on Friday.
Temperatures will remain above normal for part of the country, including Madrid. Daytime highs will settle near 16 C (61 F) in Madrid on Thursday and Friday.
A normal high temperature in the city for early December is around 10 C (50 F).
Elsewhere, in Barcelona, highs will be near 15 C (59 F), which is right around normal. The skies will feature bright sunshine over the region to go along with light winds.
Across southwestern Spain, areas such as Seville will experience highs around 20-24 C (low to mid-70s F). Normal temperatures are around 17 C (64 F).
Ideal weather conditions are in store for Real Madrid's match against Getafe, as well as F.C. Barcelona's match against Valencia on Saturday.
