Minneapolis: Cooler Weather to Invade City Before Warm Weekend

After a stormy start to the week, cooler air will invade the Minneapolis area before the weekend.

Temperatures will drop into the upper 60s F on Thursday with the chance for showers around in the morning hours. Morning commuters may want to pack an umbrella.

On Friday, however, high temperatures will dip into the lower 60s, the lowest reading since late May. Those heading out in the early morning may want to grab a light coat or sweater.

By the weekend, temperatures will rebound to the mid-60s and low 70s. Tranquil weather will span both Saturday and Sunday, making for the perfect opportunity to get outdoors.

Those attending the Twin Cities Food Truck Bike Crawl or nearby fall festivals can expect sunny skies and dry conditions.
