Hot and summery conditions will continue for residents living in Cleveland as we head into the second half of the week and into the weekend.
High temperatures are expected to be in the low 90s F on Wednesday, which is almost 10 degrees above average for this time of year in the city. The average high in Cleveland in 82.
If Cleveland surpasses the 90-degree mark on Wednesday, it would be the first time this month that has happened.
Residents will be provided with some relief from the hot and humid conditions when a front moves through Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, according to AccuWeather Meteorologist Steve Travis.
Behind the front, temperatures will return to normal and there will be a significant drop in humidity to finish off the second half of the workweek. High temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s, which is typical of late July in Cleveland.
Comfortable and mostly sunny conditions will persist on Friday and into the first half of the weekend creating perfect conditions for those participating in outdoor activities.
"There will be a small chance for a showers and thunderstorms throughout the weekend, but most areas should remain dry," Travis added.
