A second round of rain will cross the region on Sunday, while the storm that brought heavy rain and strong wind Friday and Friday night tracks across the northeast toward Scandinavia. Sunday's wet weather will be produced by a new storm that will track across Ireland and rain will spread from west to east across England.
The steadiest and heaviest rainfall for London will occur Sunday afternoon, before tapering to showers late Sunday night as the storm crosses Scotland. Rainfall amounts should average 10-15 millimeters across the city and the wind will average 15-30 kph with gusts to 50 kph Sunday and Sunday night.
Lingering moisture in the wake of the storm will cause passing showers on Monday. It will be breezy and mild with clouds and breaks of sunshine.
