Detroit: Warm, Dry Conditions to Prevail Through Weekend, Early Next Week

Sunny days and dry conditions will be in the forecast for residents living in the Motor City through the weekend and early next week.

Temperatures will hover in the upper 80s F through Sunday with mostly sunny skies throughout the day. The average high for Detroit this time of year is 83 F.

Humidity levels will be high throughout the weekend as a front approaches the city making AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures in the mid-90s F.

"Any type of precipitation should stay north of Detroit, making this weekend perfect for outdoor activities," AccuWeather Meteorologist Maggie Samuhel said.

Humidity levels will decrease gradually as we head into the workweek with an area of high pressure expected to sit over the region. High temperatures will be in the low 80s through Tuesday. Nighttime conditions will be mild with patchy clouds with low temperatures in the mid-60s.

The next chance for precipitation will occur on Wednesday and Thursday when a disturbance is expected to move through the area.
