Much of the week will see near-normal temperatures and little in the way of rains across London and the heart of England.
The weather will trend progressively cooler and less settled toward the north and west, being rainiest in the west of Scotland.
The warmest weather of the week to greater London will happen Tuesday, when the high will be near 25 C amidst sunny intervals.
Wednesday through the weekend, highs will be within a range of 21 C to 23 C, or about average for the middle of summer. Any rains here and over much of England are forecast to be scattered and short-lived.
The lack of heat comes in contrast to weather on much of the continent, which will continue to suffer bouts of high temperature. Hot weather will reach north of the Alps on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
