Warm, dry weather will spread over most of the United Kingdom on Friday with increasing showery outbreaks Saturday and Sunday.
Under sunny intervals, much of England and eastern Wales will warm Friday to between 23 C and 25 C, including Greater London.
At Wimbledon for Friday's semi-finals play, temperature will rise to 25 C amidst light south-westerly winds of 10 to 20 km/h.
High pressure giving the warm, bright weather will leave to the east as a cold front enters the weather picture from the west on Saturday. While northern and western areas will see outbreaks of showers, the south and east of England will get one more warm, dry day before these regions become prone to showers on Sunday.
The outlook for early next week will hang on another cold front. Near-normal temperature and scattered showers are the odds-on favorite.
