Temperatures will remain persistently low through midweek as dry skies grace the Cleveland area.
"A glancing blow of cold air will hit Cleveland," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Todd Miner said.
With this cold snap, daytime highs will linger in the teens and overnight lows will settle into the single digits. Temperatures until Thursday will hover near 15 degrees below normal for this time of year.
However, the cold will not be as brutal as last week, Miner said.
Skies will remain dry into late week with plenty of sunshine.
Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures will begin to moderate. By late week, temperatures will be near normal, reaching near the freezing mark.
As the weekend develops, conditions will trend even milder with highs reaching the 40s.
