NYC: Winds May Pose Risk for Dangling Crew at World Trade Center

While winds were light during the midday hours around New York City, gusts from the northwest may pose a problem for the dangling window washing crew at the World Trade Center Wednesday afternoon.

Gusts from the northwest will reach 15-25 mph during the latter part of the afternoon for rescue operations.

A front is crossing the Interstate-95 corridor Wednesday afternoon that will mark a dramatic change to long-lasting cold weather.

Temperatures will hold in the 60s Wednesday afternoon, but will plummet through the 50s during the evening hours.
