AccuWeather LIVE: Showers to Wash Northeast, Tropics Remain Active

On this weekly edition of AccuWeather LIVE, we take a look at the systems churning in the Atlantic and Pacific as well as the rain set to hit the Northeast and Pacific Northwest.

AccuWeather Meteorologist Justin Povick will bring you forecast details including the breezy conditions throughout the Midwest and spreading warmth across the South.

Molly Cochran will present storm updates throughout the country as well.

AccuWeather Meteorologist Bernie Rayno and Evan Myers will be on hand for their featured By the Numbers segment.

Stef Davis will take you through hurricanes that have famously made impacts throughout October.

Mark Mancuso and Jack Dickey will highlight the best social commentary from our story on bugs and other creatures popping up on weather radar, providing some colorful illustrations on the color-coded graphics. Swarms of mayflies, birds and butterflies have all recently appeared on weather maps as giant swarms were detected during routine scans.

In order to help plan your weekend, Justin Povick returned with will the forecast across the country, especially for those looking to spend time outdoors at sporting events or local festivities. There was also information on what damaging impacts Tropical System Ana could bring to Hawaii. Bermuda also could see the wrath of Gonzalo late in the week.

Keeping with tradition, Mark Mancuso will feature some of the best fan photos of the week.
