Rounds of moisture will invade the Atlanta area for the weekend.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will make their way into the city during the afternoon and overnight hours through Sunday. When the rain is not falling the sky will still maintain a dense layer of cloud coverage until Sunday, when more sunshine may break through on occasion.
Temperatures will stay between the upper 70s and lower 80s through the weekend, with Sunday being the warmest of the days.
During the overnight, lows will dip slightly into the upper 60s.
Winds are not expected to be strong or gusty through the weekend. AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures will be close to the actual temperature, feeling only a couple degrees warmer than it is.
Fans will tickets to the Braves as they host the Phillies this weekend should prepare for the possibility of a wet game or possible delays.
To start the next workweek, conditions will improve slightly with more sunshine, though showers will continue to pop up through out the day. By midweek some strong thunderstorms are likely to return to the area.
