VIDEO: Snowlike Hail, Flooding Rapids Ransack Homes in Colorado

A round of rain and severe storms across parts of the Rockies sent some heavily damaging conditions to parts of Colorado.

According to Senior Meteorologist Joe Lundberg, areas hardest hit were southeastern Larimer County and the Poudre Canyon, where intense rapids of floodwaters rushed through.

In the video below by Heidi Rock, hailstones as big as moth balls plummeted to the Earth and piled up as if they were snowflakes in the Colorado town of Berthoud.

Meanwhile, Green Mountain Falls, Colorado, was deluged by flooding, as Meteorologist Andrew Baglini explains in this video:

"Centennial Airport had 1.09 inches of rain, while Buckley Airport had 1.57 inches," Lundberg reported.

He forecasts another round of thunderstorms for the state into Tuesday evening, with more flooding downpours likely.
