Dry weather will be the story for the Cleveland area through the first half of the weekend before severe storms make a return.
Anyone headed to the ballpark to watch the Cleveland Indians or planning on doing some yard work can count on dry weather both Friday and Saturday with highs in the lower 80s.
This will change on Sunday as a new pattern takes shape.
A slow-moving low pressure system is forecast to churn over the Great Lakes for several days, making those in Cleveland reach for their umbrellas and raincoats.
This will be evident on Sunday as some showers and some stronger thunderstorms move in and bring the threats of gusty winds and hail.
The threat of heavy thunderstorms will carry over into Monday with highs each day remaining in the lower 80s.
A cooldown will come on Tuesday with highs in the 70s and a lingering shower.
