It will be a soggy weekend around the Atlanta area for the duration of this weekend.
Friday's thunderstorms will be relegated to mostly the afternoon hours, but could carry on intermittently throughout the day. Conditions will be much the same on Saturday, with the highest shower chances in the afternoon but not ruled out for other parts of the day.
By Sunday the precipitation chances will be lower, but still present through the overnight into Monday.
Daytime highs will vary a great deal this weekend, taking a dip from the mid-70s Friday to the middle to lower 50s for Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will be more constant, ranging from the upper 40s to the lower 50s each night.
By Monday the daytime high temperatures will rise, but overnight lows will take a sharper dip.
