An area of high pressure wedged between a storm system sitting off the coast of the Northwest and the system that brought snow and rain to parts of California earlier this week will start the weekend off with abundant sunshine for Los Angeles.
However, as the weekend progresses, the days will get increasingly cloudier, though no precipitation is in the forecast.
Temperatures will remain consistent for the duration of the weekend with upper 60s and lower 70s at the coast and mid- to upper 70s farther inland.
Overnight lows will stay in the mid- to upper 50s. Skies should stay fairly clear during the nighttime hours.
