The cloudy and cool start to the weekend in Dallas will soon be replaced by sunshine and milder temperatures.
In the wake of a cold front, temperatures Saturday morning in Dallas fell instead of rising as is typically the case after sunrise.
Temperatures dropped from an early morning high of 81 degrees into the 50s right before noon CDT and will not rebound as the afternoon progresses.
Gusty winds will create even chillier AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures, while a shower further dampens the day.
A breeze will persist into Sunday, but the return of abundant sunshine will bring noticeable warming in the afternoon. A high of near 80 degrees is expected to close out the weekend.
Even warmer temperatures will follow from Monday through Wednesday as a ridge of high pressure builds overhead.
