An area of high pressure will bring increased windy conditions to much of California through the weekend, adding to fire threat concerns for dry, drought-stricken areas.
That high pressure will also mean a sunny, warm weekend for the Bay area. High temperatures are expected to be in the mid-70s through the weekend.
Even during the overnight hours, skies will remain mostly clear. Lows will dip into the 50s.
Similar conditions will persist into next week, with no major rain events in the forecast for at least the next couple of weeks.
