A cold front moving into the Los Angles area will bring a sharp drop in temperature through Thursday. Highs will stay in the low to mid-70s, 10 to 15 degrees cooler than the start of the week.
The cold front will also stall the dispersement of early morning clouds, though afternoon skies will be mostly sunny.
Fire dangers in the surrounding mountains will be higher as conditions will stay gusty for the remainder of the week. These winds should stay below Santa Ana levels, however.
Nighttime temperatures will stay in the upper 50s until the weekend when they will climb back into the 60s.
Temperatures will pick up again for the last weekend of the LA County Fair. Highs will reach 90 either Saturday or Sunday and skies will be much sunnier.
