On this week's edition of AccuWeather LIVE, we will focus on the tropics as we hit the traditional peak date of hurricane season. With Tropical Storm Humberto churning away in the Atlantic and likely to become the first Atlantic hurricane of the 2013 season, we will take a look at what areas are most prone for damage during hurricane season. We'll also investigate what you can do to prepare for traveling during hurricane season.
AccuWeather.com meteorologists will give live updates on the developments in the Atlantic and Pacific, as well as national forecasts on the biggest weather trends moving across the country. Violetta Yas will explain the history behind hurricane naming, and Bernie Rayno will answer some of your questions and comments during part of his weekly By the Numbers segment.
Be sure to send us your pictures, questions and comments to our Facebook, Twitter or Google+ accounts for a chance to see them on the show.
