Tropical Storm Kiko continues swirling in Pacific

Tropical Storm Kiko is swirling in the eastern Pacific, but forecasters say the system is expected to weaken.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said Sunday that Kiko was centered about 380 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula. It had maximum sustained winds of 70 mph and was moving north at 7 mph.

The hurricane center says weakening is forecast to begin later Sunday and continue through Monday.

There are no warnings or watches in effect for land.
