Radar: Tornado, Flooding as Severe Weather Hits Across the States

Severe weather is ramping up in several locations across the country. After 2 p.m. MDT a tornado was spotted on radar near Denver International Airport. Wind gusts up to 50 mph have been reported by law enforcement in Osborne County, Kan., as thunderstorms roll through. Hail over 1 inch in diameter has been reported in Kansas and Illinois. Flash flooding reports have come ut of New England and New Jersey from trained spotters.

Flights have been disrupted in Denver and New York as severe thunderstorms hover overhead.
