San Antonio: Storms, Flood Threat Through Friday Evening

San Antonio is getting hit by heavy thunderstorms on Friday afternoon and evening.

"Training thunderstorms over San Antonio can bring a quick 1-4 inches of rain and flash flooding this afternoon," AccuWeather Expert Senior Meteorologist Henry Margusity said.

In general, torrential downpours appear to be the biggest concern with the storms that will erupt across west-central and southern Texas through Friday evening. However, damaging wind, large hail and isolated tornadoes can also occur in the strongest storms that develop.
