Around 8:47 PDT a magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook in the mountains of California, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake hit roughly 7 miles west-northwest of Greenville, Calif near Lake Almanor.
Light shaking was reported in Reno, Nev. and was able to be felt as far away as Eureka, Calif. and outside of San Francisco, Calif.
There have been no reports of damages or injuries at this time.
