Live: Severe Storms, Flash Flooding Threaten Texas to Mississippi

Thunderstorms delivering flash flooding, damaging wind gusts and hail are moving through the South Friday.

Cities most at risk for severe weather and flash flooding throughout Friday include Houston, Texas, Shreveport, La., and Little Rock, Ark.

Short-lived tornadoes are possible with the severe weather, though a large outbreak is not expected.

Downpours and thunderstorms may stretch to parts of New Mexico and Texas to portions of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle.
