Abundant sunshine will provide warm temperatures this weekend at the Coachella Music Festival in California.

Festival goers can expect plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching into the lower 90s on Saturday and mid- to upper 80s on Sunday, according to Expert Senior Meteorologist Ken Clark. The average high temperature for Indio this time of year is in the upper 80s.

Despite the seasonably warm temperatures, Sunday could prove to be relatively windy with 15-30 mph winds.

"The wind on Sunday could affect tents and increase the risk for blowing dust," Clark said.

With excessive heat and wind expected this weekend, it is important to be prepared. Keep hydrated and apply sunscreen before standing outside. Wearing sunglasses that have UV protection will help shield your eyes from the sun and the potential dust that could be blown around by the wind.

Next weekends forecast looks to be potentially warm and sunny, according to Clark.
