Live: Severe Storms Blast Indiana to New Jersey

Severe storms firing in the late afternoon in Wednesday will produce gusty winds, large hail, lightning, flash flooding and even a risk of tornadoes.

"The greatest risk for tornadoes will be from the lower Ohio Valley to parts of Arkansas and northwest Mississippi," said AccuWeather Expert Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski.

A risk of flash flooding, damaging wind and hail will impact Pennsylvania, the upper Texas coast and Louisiana into Wednesday night.

"On Thursday, the storms will migrate across the east and south," Sosnowski said.
