AccuWeather meteorologists are heading out to chase severe storms on Monday as an outbreak unfolds.
The most violent severe storms are expected to erupt across eastern Colorado, northwestern Kansas and southern Nebraska on Monday afternoon and evening.
The outbreak began on Sunday as storms in Kansas spawned hail up to the size of golfballs. A weak, rope-shaped tornado touched down near Paradise, Kan., causing damage to a barn and a radio tower.
AccuWeather Meteorologists and Storm Chasers Cory Mottice and Becky Elliot chased the storms on Sunday around the Pratt, Kan., area.
