AccuWeather meteorologists are monitoring a zone from central Texas to eastern Oklahoma for developing severe weather into this evening.
A potent storm system, also responsible for near-blizzard conditions in the Rockies and Plains, will continue to generate strong thunderstorms through the evening hours.
Cities in line for severe weather include Dallas, Waco, San Antonio, Austin, McAlester, and Tulsa.

Below is a list of storm reports and damage through Saturday afternoon:
3:15 P.M. EST: A broken band of locally strong storms was intensifying along a line from Wichita Falls, Tex. to Ballinger, Tex.
3:13 P.M. EST: Gusty thunderstorms will move through the Oklahoma City metro area over the next 30-45 minutes. Wind gusts to 50 mph are possible along with small hail.
3:00 P.M. EST: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 11:00 P.M. CST from south-central Oklahoma through central Texas.
