A former astronaut charged with confronting a romantic rival in an airport parking lot has pleaded guilty to felony burglary of a car and misdemeanor battery. In February 2007, Lisa Nowak, a married mother of three, was charged with attempted murder. She was accused of hatching an extraordinary plot to kidnap Colleen Shipman, who she believed was romantically involved with another shuttle astronaut, William Oefelein.
