A California Highway Patrol officer was stabbed in San Francisco a few blocks south of downtown.
San Francisco Police say the officer was stabbed at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday near an on-ramp to the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge. What sparked the stabbing was not immediately known.
Police say a suspect was arrested. His name and age were not released.
Police didn't release the identity or condition of the injured officer.
