A standoff with an armed robbery suspect Monday in Maryland is over, police said -- but they did not announce whether a suspect was in custody.
Maryland police said they stopped a robbery at the Capitol Plaza shopping center in Hyattsville earlier Monday before getting in a standoff with the armed suspect inside one of the businesses there, Fox 5 DC reported.
The standoff ended around 2 p.m, according to officials who reopened the road nearby.

No employees or customers were thought to be in the businesses at the time of the standoff.
No injuries have been reported.
