A woman’s burned body found in Las Vegas has been identified on the same day that a 22-year-old man was arrested and booked on a murder charge, according to police.

Raymond Quinsell Lewis IV is being held at the Clark County Detention Center in downtown Las Vegas in the murder of 20-year-old Geranique Bentley.

The Clark County Office of the Coroner confirmed the identification five days after neighbors found Bentley’s body in the crevice of two walls in the back of an apartment complex.

Alan Miller and his wife, Pauline Chuckluck, discovered the body, Fox 5 reported. Miller said, “I can still see the body. That’s always going to be an image in my brain forever, I’m sure.”

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department released a composite sketch of the victim earlier in the week seeking the public’s help in identifying the woman.

Police said she was killed and lit on fire postmortem and have ruled it a homicide. The coroner will issue a full cause of death at a later date.

In an interview with The Las Vegas Review-Journal, Lt. Dan McGrath said the crime scene where the body was found “was pretty gruesome.”
