At least one worker was killed Monday when scaffolding collapsed and fell 40 feet to the ground at a condo building under construction in South Florida, local media reported.

Three other workers were injured, one of them critically, rescuers told WSVN. The construction site is in Hollywood, north of Miami.

Video captured two workers dangling from harnesses, one hanging from the second floor and one from the fourth floor, before rescuers pulled them to safety.

Both of those workers suffered minor injuries, WFOR added. Paramedics rushed the third worker to Memorial Regional Hospital.

It was not immediately clear what triggered the collapse. Police and Occupational Safety and Health Administration investigators rushed to the scene, WSVN reported.

Officials did not name any of the workers, but said all four were men.

The building, part of the Hyde Resort and Residences, appeared to be nine stories tall.
