Grad student, musician found safe weeks after disappearing in NYC

Zachary Camhi, a 25-year-old classical musician and Boston University grad student who disappeared on a trip to New York City, was found safe, the university announced Tuesday.

Officials did not say exactly where he was found or where he went.

Friends say the last time they'd seen him, he was walking into a hotel in Manhattan on Sept. 18. They said he had come to New York to pick up a double bass.

Camhi has bipolar disorder and may have stopped talking medication, friends added.
