The second leg of Milo Yiannopoulos’s “Dangerous Faggot” tour is off to a rocky start, as one school on his roster — the University of Miami — has already cancelled his planned appearance.
University of Miami’s College Republicans had scheduled Milo’s speech for October 3rd at the school’s Bank United Fieldhouse, but a panel of faculty decided that the event created “security concerns” that the school was not prepared to handle. The faculty commission did not outline the concerns in detail.
The cancellation comes just days after Yiannopoulos released a video of his speech at Texas Tech University, taking aim directly at liberal teachers and telling his audience that “the people I really loathe” are college professors.
Milo went on to levy a barrage of criticisms at the elite intelligentsia, accusing them of lying to students and cheating them out of the education for which they paid.
“They are the root cause of this problem, they are so irresponsible that they do not understand the consequences of what they do; they don’t understand what happens to students when they leave these nice leafy communities and go out into the real world believing lies,” Milo said.
