FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – Military police at Fort Campbell responded to a report of an active shooter and apprehended a 101st Airborne Division soldier on Thursday.
Fort Campbell spokesman Robert Jenkins said in a news release that no injuries were reported and the installation is secure. Jenkins said gates are open and there are no threats to the post or local communities.
The location was near Campbell Army Airfield.
No other information was immediately available.
