Tucson police say a bank manager foiled an attempted armed robbery.
Police say a gunman accosted the manager as the manager was entering the bank Tuesday morning.
Sgt. Pete Dugan says the manager told the gunman he needed another employee to open up vaults but then eluded the robber, told other employees to leave and called 911.
Police didn't immediately find the gunman.
