Lawyers for an Ohio woman accused of suffocating her three young sons say they don't oppose genetic testing sought by prosecutors.
The Springfield News-Sun (http://bit.ly/29Ph6zD ) reports prosecutors want a blood sample from 24-year-old Brittany Pilkington to rule out genetic disorders as a cause of death for the toddler and two infants.
The Bellefontaine (behl-FOWN'-tihn) woman's attorneys say she doesn't oppose that but wants her husband and their 5-year-old daughter tested with her and the boys.
Prosecutors allege Pilkington killed the boys over a 13-month period out of jealousy at the attention her husband gave the boys.
Defense attorneys want a judge to throw out Pilkington's confession, split the case into three trials and remove the death penalty as a possibility.
A judge might consider those requests this week.
