The mother of an 11-year-old New Hampshire girl who was killed nearly five years ago says that she long suspected her ex-husband was involved and that she hopes he "rots so bad."
Louisia Cass is the mother of Celina Cass and the former wife of 52-year-old Wendell Noyes, who was charged Monday with second-degree murder in Celina's death. Celina was reported missing from her home July 26, 2011, and her body was found in the Connecticut River.
Louisia Cass tells WMUR-TV (http://bit.ly/28KXabX ) that she doesn't understand why anyone would take her baby girl.
Noyes is to be arraigned Tuesday in Berlin. It wasn't immediately known if he had lawyer. A message was left with a public defender who has represented him before in unrelated cases.

A New Hampshire man who was charged with killing his 11-year-old stepdaughter nearly five years after her body was found in a river is due in court.
Fifty-two-year-old Wendell Noyes, of Stewartstown, was arrested Monday on a second-degree murder charge in the death of Celina Cass. The girl was reported missing from her home July 26, 2011. Her body was recovered from the Connecticut River six days later.
Noyes is accused of killing Celina by submerging her body in the river.
He was deemed unfit to stand trial in a 2003 case in which he was charged with breaking into an ex-girlfriend's home and threatening her.
A phone number listed for Noyes is disconnected. He is set to be arraigned Tuesday in Berlin.
