One of the two brothers who were charged with murder in the presumed killing of a missing Washington couple has returned to the state after his arrest in San Diego earlier this week.
KREM-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1TmmrOh ) that Tony Clyde Reed crossed into the U.S. from Mexico and was arrested on Monday. Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton says detectives took custody of Reed on Friday and they flew back to Washington.
A tweet just after midnight Saturday from the sheriff's office confirmed Reed had been booked into jail. Reed's brother, John Blaine Reed, remains missing.
Neighbors reported Patrick Shunn and his wife, Monique Patenaude, missing when their livestock was left unattended.
Authorities say Reed and the couple had been involved in a property dispute.
