CHARLESTON, S.C. – Authorities say a man charged with three counts of murder in a slaying in rural South Carolina now faces two additional counts stemming from the death of unborn twins one of the victims was carrying.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday additional charges will be filed against 23-year-old Kenneth Ancrum of Ravenel, who's accused of gunning down three members of the same family.
He's already charged with murder in the shooting deaths of 55-year-old Betty Mungin, her 29-year-old daughter Alexis Mungin and her 8-year-old granddaughter Armani Mungin.
Authorities say Alexis Mungin was Ancrum's girlfriend and was pregnant with twins.
Officials say the shootings stemmed from a domestic dispute in a mobile home in the rural community of Ravenel about 20 miles west of Charleston.
