A large storm that brought a series of tornadoes to eastern Colorado has dumped up to a foot of snow in Wyoming and is expected to continue to bring hail and rain to the Rocky Mountains and Eastern Plains through Monday.

National Weather Service forecaster Timothy Trudel said Sunday a foot of snow has already fallen on mountain ranges about 40 miles west of Laramie.

He says the storm stalled over the Rockies and is expected to move toward Nebraska where it could stall again, making the weather patterns uncertain.

The weather service in Boulder sent teams out to investigate the number and magnitude of several tornadoes reported Saturday on the Eastern Plains that left five people with minor injuries and damaged motor homes and buildings.
