BENSALEM, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Turnpike has reopened after a tractor-trailer overturned on a car, killing a young New Jersey woman.
The accident occurred Monday in the eastbound lanes in Bensalem.
The 18-year-old was trapped in her car and crews had to use a crane to lift the tractor-trailer off the wreck. Her name and hometown have not been released.
The truck driver was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation.
