WASHINGTON – District of Columbia police say a teenage male was fatally stabbed at the same Metro subway station where a 15-year-old boy was fatally shot last month as he waited on a platform for a train.
Police spokeswoman Aquita Brown said the stabbing occurred about 11 a.m. Monday at the Deanwood Metro station.
Brown says the unconscious male victim was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police released surveillance photos on Monday afternoon of a person of interest in the shooting. Police say the person is a male believed to be between 14 and 20 years old who wears braces.
A 17-year-old has been charged as an adult with second-degree murder in last month's fatal shooting.
