State troopers say a missing Tuscaloosa man has been found dead in a car accident.
Troopers say a wrecked Ford Mustang driven by 24-year-old Zach Koch was found about 9 miles south of Tuscaloosa on Monday. The vehicle ran off a road and down a hill, striking several trees.
Troopers say the single-vehicle wreck happened about 4 a.m. Sunday, and Koch hadn't been heard from since shortly before that time.
Sister Charlee Koch tells the Tuscaloosa News the University of Alabama graduate was last seen by a friend who gave him a ride home after a night out at a bar.
She says the man was going to meet his girlfriend but texted that he couldn't find her house. He never showed up.
