A fourth high school teacher in less than two years has been accused of sexual misconduct with a student in a Louisiana parish.

In a news release, Capt. Pat Yoes (YOHZ) of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Jeremy Eusea (U'-say) of Paradis (Par'-uh-dee), was arrested Thursday on charges of sexual battery and prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student.

Yoes says the school system asked deputies to investigate allegations involving Eusea, who taught at Hahnville High School and allegedly had begun inappropriate text messaging conversations with a 17-year-old student. Yoes says the messages, which occurred during and after school, included inappropriate conversations and pictures.

The earlier separate incidents involved three Destrehan High School teachers accused of having sex with a student. There are 9,819 students and 816 teachers in the parish's school system.
