The Latest on a house fire and shooting in Phoenix (all times local):
7:20 a.m.
Phoenix police and firefighters braved gunshots, flames and smoke as they went to help shooting victims at a home that was on fire.
Details of the Tuesday morning shooting remain unclear, but authorities say at least two people were taken to hospitals with gunshot wounds and that the gunman also was shot.
Police Sgt. Trent Crump says the victims' conditions aren't immediately available, and he says there could be additional victims inside the gutted home.
Firefighters put out the fire after it flared up a second time, with several standing on the roof as flames and smoke gushed out. Police officers were shot at as they went into the house, some donning breathing apparatus to enter the burning home.
Crump says a 911 caller from the home described the shooting as a domestic situation.

Crump says the gunshot victims' conditions aren't available, and it's unclear whether there are any additional victims at the home on the city's northwest side.
Crump says police responded to a 911 call from somebody in the home about people being shot.
Details are sketchy about what happened at the home, including how the fire started. Dozens of fire units have responded to the blaze.

Authorities in Phoenix say there has been shooting at a house on fire on the city's northwest side and that gunshot victims are in the home.
Details are sketchy about the incident unfolding Tuesday morning, but police Sgt. Trent Crump says there was an active shooter in the house and that it was on fire. Fire Capt. Reda Bigler says there were gunshot victims in the home, but that their conditions weren't known.
Dozens of fire units are at the scene.
Journalists were being kept hundreds of feet from the home and at least one local television station cut away from showing live video from a helicopter. An anchor for KNXV-TV said that was to avoid giving away the positions of police around the house.
