A New Jersey attorney accused of seeking sexual favors from some clients, as well as inappropriate sexual contact with an undercover agent, apparently killed himself Tuesday, officials said.

Raritan borough attorney Richard Schubach was found in his vehicle outside his law office with a gunshot wound to his chest, Somerset County Prosecutor Geoff Soriano said.

Schubach had been charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual contact after inappropriately touching an undercover Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office agent against her will, reported.

Prosecutors also accused him of offering to reduce rates for some women who were his clients in exchange for sexual favors.

The undercover agent visited his office as part of the investigation. He asked her to dress up in something "pretty" for their next meeting, during which he fondled her under her blouse, according to As the agent tried to leave, Schubach reportedly exposed her breast and lifted up her skirt.

The attorney was arrested and released on bail.
