The lawyer for a man charged in the death of his pediatrician wife in an affluent New York City suburb says a bail hearing has been scheduled for Friday.

Attorney Kerry Lawrence declined further comment on the arrest of Jules Reich.

A spokesman for the Westchester district attorney's office says Reich was charged with second-degree murder on Thursday. Reich is a tax specialist at a New York City firm.

His wife, Dr. Robin Goldman, was found dead in their Scarsdale home Wednesday after police responded to a 911 call of a woman seriously injured there.

Goldman was a pediatrician affiliated with the Children's Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.

It's the first homicide in the Scarsdale village in nearly four decades.

Prosecutors say the husband of a 58-year-old pediatrician at a New York City children's hospital has been arrested and charged with her murder inside their multimillion-dollar home in an affluent suburb.
