Authorities have released the names of the five officers who killed the man responsible for a deadly Chattanooga attack that claimed the lives of four Marines and a sailor.

In July, 24-year-old Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez first shot at a U.S. military recruiting office before driving to a U.S. Naval Reserve Center, where he killed the servicemen before he was shot to death during a confrontation with Chattanooga police.

On Monday, those policemen were identified as Officers Sean O'Brien, Grover Wilson, Jeff Lancaster, Kevin Flanagan and Lucas Timmons.

Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke said in a news release that the officers "bravely rushed toward danger."
